Reassurance

I was going through HBR blog newsletter today and found one specific blog about "Get your goals back on track". I checked the passage and found that first of the scientifically tested strategies is what I had blogged before. It is about setting detailed goals and then setting your KPI's against it. For example, instead of writing that I am going to learn Arabic, it should be like, by the month of June, I will learn to speak beginners Arabic, and by the end of 2011, I will try to pass an exam on beginners Arabic etc.

Maybe I had epiphany. I am on track to success. One month past the new year 2011, and still I don't have any KPI's set. Maybe this article was posted to reassure me that I need to follow the disciplined path.

So I should strive to have a goals setting weekend and start a disciplined life.
On the physical aspect of my life, I have started to go for cardio and for swimming in the hotel. But I need also to plan out the continuity once I reach back in Kuwait, since otherwise this may prove harmful rather than beneficial.
